There is currently no curative or disease-modifying treatment. Management is supportive: rehabilitation medicine (physiotherapy, assistive devices), spasmolytic agents, anti-seizure medication where needed, and genetic counseling. Regular follow-up of ambulation, spasticity and cognition is advised.
