Management is symptomatic and should be multidisciplinary, with close follow-up by pediatric neurology, clinical genetics, rehabilitation teams, and developmental specialists. Seizure control may require multiple antiseizure medications, and some patients remain drug-resistant. Early developmental intervention, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and nutritional support should be considered according to individual needs. EEG and longitudinal developmental assessment are useful for clinical monitoring, while genetic counselling is important for families because the disorder is autosomal recessive.
